Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

·Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient needs

·Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures

·Observe, record and report to clinical supervisor, patient’s reaction to treatment, progress, and any changes in patient’s condition

·Assists patient and family with community resources needed to adjust to physical, mental, and social limitations

·Follow up with, execute, and properly document orders

·Provide accurate and timely documentation of care per agency policy and pay source requirements

·Effectively manage a caseload as established by the agency

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

·Active license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado

·Current TB screening upon hire and annually thereafter

·Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required

·Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

·Strong interpersonal skills

·Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical record preferred

·Valid state Driver’s License with reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

·Ability to perform the anticipated level of physical assist required to provide safe patient care. If the anticipated level of assist is greater than that which the employee can safely provide, the supervisor will be notified immediately

·Ability to regularly sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, balance, crouch, crawl, push, pull, reach with hands and arms and talk and hear
